End of the Road

I am standing at the end of a road.

Behind me lies that familiar dirt drive that welcomes me safely and will always understand me. Ahead of me lies a freshly paved highway that is divided by two thick yellow lines separating the comers and the goers.  It holds so many unanswered questions and blind turns.

If I turn back, nothing will change.  It will be the same routine life with no unknowns.  If I go forward, nothing will be the same.  The life I used to know will be a stranger and I will have to introduce myself to a new one.  So the question is which way do I go.  Do I take a risk and drop everything I have here, or do I hold on tight to my current life.
